Please note the above program is now developing, with some flexibility in panellists and discussants. There is a time for further comment and engagement across AAUN, with African and Australian HOMS, and also government.

We expect up to 150 expert participants from across the Australian and African network of universities, as well as interested parties from cooperating networks and NGOs.

Shoulder Events
The AAUN Africa Forum has aligned with the 3rd International Global Food Security Conference, taking place in Cape Town from 4-6 December 2017 at Cape Town International Convention Centre. Participants at the AAUN Africa Forum are encouraged to attend the Global Food Security Conference on the following days. Registration for this event can be made here. Note that early bird registration closes 15 September 2017.

The Department of Science and Technology (DST) is hosting the Science Forum South Africa in Pretoria from 7-8 December 2017 at the CSIR International Convention Centre. The program and registration for this event is not yet available.

The Forum will be held at the CTICC, which is close to the V&A Waterfront and surrounded by hotels. We encourage you to book your hotel as soon as possible, as this is a popular time in Cape Town. If you will be attending the 3rd International Global Food Security Conference, there are special rates available here.
