Family Violence Has No Boundaries: Cultural Diversity and Prevention Conference
Organized by the University of Melbourne and the Africa Think Tank, Melbourne, Australia the two day inaugural Family Violence Has No Boundaries conference will explore the theme of Cultural Diversity and Prevention and look at all aspects of family domestic violence. Family violence has become a key concern for communities, governments, organisations and individuals.
Program
The conference program will include keynote presentations, panel discussions and presentation of papers. The program will also include a welcome reception and a conference dinner. Full details will be available on the conference website
Call for Abstracts
We will strive to develop and learn from each other. The Family Violence Has No Boundaries conference is a cross disciplinary forum, and the organisers are interested in case studies of practice, theoretical papers, and other papers addressing the following issues:
- Culture
- Religion
- Law & Order
- Justice – Lawyers
- Service Providers
- Family – family perspective and impact
We invite scientific or research paper or poster to present on any aspect of the conference program and are now accepting abstracts for papers and posters addressing the topics outlined.

Abstract Submissions
Abstracts must be a maximum of 400 words and include these items: Paper/Poster title Topic/Area Principal author contact details: Name, address, email and phone numbers Co-author contact details Brief biography of authors (200 words) Your abstract submission should be Electronic Plain text only – no formatting, table, graphs, images, macros, headers or footers Emailed to pcs@cogroup.com.au Successful applicants will be sent full submission guidelines, including a request for approval to use their paper in conference proceedings and for inclusion in publication. Authors will also be advised at that time as to the duration of their presentation. Please note that all speakers, except invited keynote presenters, will be expected to register for the conference and meet all payment and submission deadlines.
