University of Ghana joins AAUN

Professor Ernest Aryeetey, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ghana

The University of Ghana has joined the Australia Africa Universities Network as its newest member.

As the oldest and largest of the eight public universities in Ghana, the University aims to develop world-class human resources to meet global development challenges.

Professor Ernest Aryeetey, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ghana, says, “We look forward to partnering with the AAUN to help develop our institutions and Africa as a whole.”

Through the AAUN, it will collaborate with universities in Australia and Africa to further its research to support policies for national development.
