The Africa Research & Engagement Centre (AfREC) at the Univerity of Western Australia will convene its Annual Africa Research Showcase 2021 on Friday 5 November. The Showcase is an opportunity for AfREC’s Research Fellows and Postgraduate Fellows to present their current research work to other researchers, government and industry partners, community stakeholders and the wider public.

AfREC researchers come from a range of academic disciplines and fields and variously address issues of relevance to the African continent, and/or Australia-Africa relations, and/or African diaspora communities in Australia.

This year the flagship event will also feature wonderful local African food, coffee and music!

The event will be both in-person at UWA and streamed live to registered participants via Zoom. Further details on the event, including the program of speakers and session times, will be added as confirmed.
